Thanksgiving, Just around the Corner (New Pics)
The kids are really coming into their own. The sense of security is starting to settle in and it is really allowing them to blossom. They each have such unique personality traits (with uncanny brother and sister similarities). Eddis has the most wonderful sense of humor and he just "gets it". He loves music and understands everything we ask him to do. He is literally changing before our eyes. He loves his brothers Justin and Jacob, there is a true connection between the 3 of them. Jenna is having the chance now to be the little girl she was always meant to be. The freedom from whatever held her back is allowing her to have fun, be curious, be loving, be innocent, and just enjoy all her family and new found friends. The difference that 6 weeks in a loving attentive environment is truly amazing. We have been blessed!!!

Jeff and Jen,
I have been reading your blog since October and I thought it was time to introduce myself. My name is Christy and I am also a Ukraine adoptive parent. I was so happy to find your blog. Here is why:
My husband and I were at the NAC on July 5 at 10:30 am for our 2nd appointment. During this appointment the psychologist showed us a picture of a beautiful littly boy who had just become available that day. We wanted to go to Donetsk to visit him. Before we left, we found out he had a sister that wasn't available until October. My husband and I talked about it for about 5 minutes before we had to make a decision. We knew in our hearts that they were not our children and that our son was waiting for us. After our facilitator told the director we declined the referral, we were shown the referral of our 2.5 year old son and we knew from the moment we saw his profile that he was our waiting child. For the next couple of months I wondered what happened to those babies who are now Joseph and Jenna and I am so glad they found their parents. Congratulations and if you want to talk my e-mail address is baby4christy@yahoo.com
Congratulations! You have a wonderful family!
Christy
