Getting in the Routine

I know a lot of you have confessed to being Blog “junkies”. That is such a cool thing to confide (to us) in. I have to let you all know that I took both kids to Kinder Music today. Eddie impressed the teacher with his musically inclined motions and ability to keep up. Jenna was a bit shy at first but caught on quickly and had a ball. She did not want to leave. Edward, on the other hand was still suffering from jet lag and life in general. I think that he gets over stimulated very easily. Just looking around at the abundance of things and stuff must throw him for a loop, Jenna, too. But girls seem to deal with frustrating things a bit different than boys. That has been a new thing around here. I thought I was the princess! : )

  • J & J,

Oh, how my heart just soars for all of you. I can only imagine how good it must have felt to put your feet on solid Swansboro ground and hug your two biggest boys and bring your newest additions into their home. And then to have all of you sleeping under the same roof. Just awesome!!! I'm simply thrilled for all of you. Of course you've all been in my constant prayers and thoughts. There's plenty of time for us to catch up -- I know you need this time with your precious family. Enjoy every second of it and try and rest when you can (ha - what's that?) What do you need? What size clothes are the children?

Thank you for the beautiful flowers. I was so surprised to see them arrive on my doorstep last week from you guys and from Mary and Jason. I can't believe ya'll had the time to think of us like that with all that all of you had going on. Really, we were so touched. And so was Sue. Just when all her other flowers were history, a fresh bouquet arrived - perfect timing. I'm surprised they were able to fit all of the names on the card...

We're doing okay and keeping busy now trying to enjoy the last of our beloved campground (went last weekend for first time since Labor Day). Did I ever tell you it's closing down forever as of Nov. 6th(yes, they sold it to condo builders)? We found out in late August. Heartbroken to say the least we're packing up 33 years of memories for me and 20 years of memories for Paul. Even the kids realize it's a major bummer.

But God is good. You guys know that better than anybody don't you. Kisses to all.

Love ya & I'll talk with you soon,
    Pamela

P.S. I'm so very proud of you!

  • Hi Guys,

I'm so glad you're home and everyone is settling in!! And I'm sorry, Jen, but you are definitely no longer the princess at home anymore. Just consider yourself the queen!!

Eddie taught Kindermusik for a couple years and was stoked to hear you're taking the kids. He did a research study last year for school and came up with some convincing evidence that kids who have a background in music score higher on tests than those with no background. I guess that's why I have absolutely no math skills whatsoever - except for important stuff, like how much of a tip to leave at a restaurant and how to figure out sale prices on clothing!!!

We're thinking of you always, and I will definitely call you soon!

    oxoxo

  • Hey, how funny!!! I didn't see Cathy's post until after I sent you mine, so I guess it really is true about the queen/princess thing!! It's better to be the queen, anyway, because you get to boss the princess around (not that you'll ever have to do that, but sometimes my little princess needs a little redirection about who the boss is)!!!
