  • Hey guys,
I just posted a comment on yesterday's message and clicked back on and saw this note. Funny you are all the way over there and here I am and we are both doing the same thing. Anyway, I just wanted to make sure you saw my message from yesterday.

  • Hey guys

Loved the new pictures. I think Joseph's tights must have to do with some superhero thing. Maybe he can use his powers to get you guys out of there soon!!! They sure are cute, and so lucky to have such fabulous parents and brothers.

We're praying for you and thinking of you every day. I'll bet when you get home the boys are going to seem so HUGE compared to those two little ones.

We're thinking of ya and praying for your safe return every day.

    Love,
    Mandy Eddie Liam and Dayna

  • I think the tights are kind of cute. I guess I forgot to tell you that I had Jacob and Justin wear tights the whole time they stayed with me. I thought it was okay. Where do you think Jacob's "rash" came from. I'm confused by the note. Are you coming home next week? When? Let us know.

  • I'm with Sally..I think the tights are kind of cute (funny how I knew it was Sally by her sense of humor even though she didn't sign it) ...Joseph Edward could have a dress on (I guess I just negated any possibility of babysitting him) and he would still be cute....just a note on blogging -don't hit "login and publish" more than once...the knock knock joke wasn't THAT good in case you were thinking that I thought it was so good it was worth publishing twice.
I didn't...I'm just impatient with my computer. Jennie and Jeff, I think Mary is coming by to see the new pics and read the blog....I know she hasn't seen or read in three days and is looking forward to it...I know she is looking forward to being Aunt Mary to more babies and help to love them in the way all children deserve to be loved.
I'll take a boy or a girl, whichever you can sneak out...does the government monitor blogs?...oops, they may think I am serious (I am)....
Jennie, I just planted fall bulbs and moved a Japanese Maple tree....I did it all by myself without your advice...your 'baby gardener bird' is soaring (well, maybe not soaring but attempting flight at least!)
    love you,
    Cathy

  • Hi Jen and Jeff,
I LOVE the tights. Joseph Edward is getting in touch with his "softer side" as Christopher does when he attempts to wear Cori's dress up shoes (while holding a hammer). Poor kid. We can post such pictures on a family/friends web-site when the boys are of dating age. I just talked with Mary - she is attempting to call you with Jacob and Justin. She has had trouble getting through, but will keep trying! Take care! We Love You! C,A,C&C

  • Hello there!

So sorry you haven't heard from me in a few days. Please know that my caring, nurturing "aunting" skills definitely surpass my computer skills bar none! Cathy really agrees with me on this note. Here's a little humor for you. On Saturday afternoon we were at your house checking on a few things, and I typed my first comment & lost the whole thing. Then I tried again and couldn't figure out how to send it successfully because we were unsure of the user name & password. What a frustrating "hoot"! We've also tried phoning you several times this afternoon because I knew that it would brighten your day, but for some reason we could not get a decent connection using both the pin #s Rob gave us & the 1010345 #. I'm so sorry that we were unsuccessful. The boys are really missing you too, and I know that it will be an amazing family reunion when you do get home! Justin & Jacob have both been so flexible & adaptable with the plans. We had a great weekend & actually went to Ski Beach for a few hours yesterday. Quite a few feet of the dunes are gone after the hurricane, and that leaves more room for football & volleyball! They had fun throwing quite a few passes yesterday. They're looking forward to Monday Night football with Uncle Jase. There are two games, one @ 7:30 & the other @ 9:00. Don't worry, I'll have them in bed at a reasonable time. I do feel for Justin having to go to school so early. He's quite a trooper!
Well, our new neice & nephew are absolutely precious in the photos! We are so looking forward to meeting them both! Please give them a great big hug & kiss from Big Brothers Justin & Jacob,Aunt Mary, Uncle Jase, & Cousins Elizabeth & Luke. We love you so much & miss you the MOST! May God's peace continue to warm your hearts & keep us all close through prayer. Jenn, thanks for sharing the scriptures and affirmations from your Bible study. Remember to hold onto Isaiah 41:10 also for encouragement! Consider yourself hugged from all of us when you read this. Hopefully we can chat soon...we'll try to call tomorrow after school.
    All our love,
    The Brooks Gang
