  • Hi Jen anfd Jeff, we are all hunkering down for Ophielai's wrath. Actually we don't think it is going to be that bad but one never knows. John sandbagged the basement doors just in case. What a chore that is...he said they will stay there for a long time. We are closed today and all is very quiet. I am here just to take care of a few musts...cancel qa board meeting, write to my two dear kids in Ukraine, etc. Even though it has just been a few weeks since you left it seems like forever. I know on a 2 week vacation, by the end of the second week one just thinks of going home and being with their family. It does sound like you are having an incredible experience and that everyone is very nice to you both. I can't wait to see and talk with you about it. I haven't had a chance to tal with the boys, will try and do that today or tomorrow. I have tried to call you numerous times but it never goes thru. I'll try again today. Well, my dear, dear kids...keep well and we will see you soon. Any definite date on when you'll leave. Is Leeza over the chicken pox? Lots of love. MOM and John xxxxxxxxxoooooo

  • Hi Jen and Jeff,

I know you must be worried about Ophelia lurking near your home. It must be so hard not to be home with the boys, but hopefully nothing major will happen and the boys will get a nice day off from school!!

I've been thinking about how homesick you both must be. I've never been anywhere where I haven't heard English spoken every day, and that must really be freaky to go days without hearing it on the street, in stores, et cetera. One more reason to stay away from Canada, eh? Even though they speak English up there (sort of), there's just no place like home.

Jennie, I think it's time that you did some serious shoe shopping as a form of retail therapy. I have to tell you, that always cheers me up when I'm down. Plus, hanging out with sweet little kids and getting lots of kisses and hugs from them always helps too, and it seems like you're getting tons of that.
It's sooo cute how they're so excited to see you every day!!! Enjoy it now, because my friends tell me that when they turn into teenagers, everything you do will embarrass them to no end and they'll pretend they don't know you in public.

Jenna Leeza just has the sweetest little smiley face, and Edward has such a little boy look about him. I can't wait to meet them in real life!!

Well, hang in there, guys. You'll be home before you know it. We think about you and pray for you every day.

    love and hugs,

    Mandy, Eddie, Liam, Dayna
